Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17th October, 1992 in the Indian state of, is a movie actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil as well as Telugu cinema along with several films in Malayalam. She received the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri as the lead actress in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Additionally, she was awarded a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter film producer G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. In the early 2000s, she started her career as an actress. After completing her studies in fashion design, she returned to the world of film. The year 2013 was the last time she played the lead in Geethaanjali which was a film in Malayalam. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In the year 2015, Keerthy accepted her first film projects that were not in Malayalam and signed on to participate in a variety of Tamil films simultaneously. Her debut film was A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which was a co-production with Vikram Prabhu, though the film was not a success at the box office. Due to her busy schedule, in 2015 she was forced to pull out of films which she already began working, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the end, she made two films with Sivakarthikeyan quickly, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the lead character for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film's release was pushed back in the year 2015, and will now be after September 2020. The film will be released under an entirely different name Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and was starring in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy made her debut with Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) opposite actor Vijay.
