Suzanne Pleshette (born June 25, 1942) was an American actor, voice-over artist and writer. In the course of her career that lasted for nearly five decades she had amassed hundreds of credits on her record. An emigrant from New York, Pleshette began her acting career on stage but later began a gradual transition to the screen. Her most renowned films are "Rome Adventure", "The Birds", "Fate Is the Hunter" Then, If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium" and "Support Your Neighborhood Gunfighter. She has also appeared in several television shows and films. She was nominated for Emmy Awards four times and Golden Globe Awards twice. Pleshette has been twice nominated, took home her the Laurel Award for 'The Birds" in 1963. Pleshette passed away in 2008 and was posthumously presented with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
